About the experience here at the “Environmental Dance” festival. How we influence each other. Even how much cold space we have eaten at this festival — it affects how we feel and how we behave.
Competition. Cooperation. Regularity.
- Choreography - Edgars Lipors
- Dancers: Dzintars Lipors, Edgars Lipors
Milky Way, Part Two: Whale, Part Three: IKEA
- Choreography - Guntis Spridzāns (in the meadow)
- Dancers: Reina Lahtionova, Melānija Freimane, Kristīne Rublovska, Gunta Sidorova, Paula Krūze, Edgars Lipors
The work is created as moving paintings. Dance is used as a supporting element. Choreographer's inspiration coordinates: landscapes familiar to Lūznava locals. Self-posed questions: Human nature: For or against, outside or inside? Me, my mother, milk and hay. Answers: not important.
Game
- Choreography - Lāslo Fileps
- Dancers: Līga Ozoliņa, Iveta Dortāne, Dana Lahtionova, Inga Peļņa, Marta Vaivode, Elizabete Rupā, Dārta Drava, Ieva Lība Ratniece, Edgars Lipors
The production tells about the importance and necessity of play and playing, just like in childhood – nothing has changed, only we have become a little bigger. The game allows us to understand our fears, anxiety, and anger. The dance performance invites you to look at yourself and the world through the eyes of a child – just as critically and creatively. Nothing complicated.
Taboo
- Choreography - Marija Ri Shirotsuki
- Dancers: Andrejs Korsuns, Gunta Sidarova, Iveta Dortāne, Laura Ābola, Baiba Akmane, Melānija Freimane, Dārta Drava, Paula Krūze, Amēlija Ābola, Aurēlija Proņina
- Video - Mārtiņš Līdaks
The video and dance performance “TABOO” throws the viewer into an ordinary, at first glance, story about the meeting of civilization and wild nature, but if you delve into the meaning of the word “taboo” itself, you can also discover other meanings of the performance. Taboo is the prohibition of certain actions, considering them too sinful or sacred for a person to dare to do, and for performing these actions, a person is doomed to supernatural punishment (encyclopedia definition).

To structure or to deform? Does organized chaos exist?
An attempt to break down boundaries and rules, entering a time and space created by ourselves. Maybe it is not a free choice. Can the viewer also make their own choices, not being influenced or being directly influenced by the environment and space created by the performers.
